Drawing with a blank mind
This shouldn’t be a problem for the average, busy Draw Anyway reader: after a long day of work or child-care or whatever else takes up most of your time, the chances are that you haven’t got much energy left for thinking out a well-planned picture. So the idea is to see what comes out if you simply pick up a pen and let your hand wander across the page.
I’ve just been doing this, and I’ve come up with a couple of findings:
1. I don’t think it’s possible to draw with a completely blank mind. The closest I came was to scribble a little without really looking at the page, then start paying a little more attention to the shapes I’d made by accident and allowing myself to draw more mindfully.
2. It seems that what’s on my mind is alien-like blooms and rabbits in anoraks.
Is it at all possible that, like dreams, pictures drawn in this way could offer a glimpse into your subconscious? Because if so, I may be in trouble.
Give it a go, and let me know what you come up with. Also, can you find a way to be even less aware of what you are drawing?

Look what you make me to do instead of working! (thanks :) )
Ha, I love it!
