Weekend draw: vegetables
Take a break from chopping the veg this weekend and draw the veg instead. Then let’s have a look at your work.

Here’s this week’s synopsis. Remember that you can still go back and comment on these posts; there has been some nice conversation going on this week, so dig in!
> On Monday, the message was to draw simple shapes (much the same as the approach favoured in the series that The Guardian newspaper is running in the UK at the moment).
> On Tuesday, it was about looking at art in a new and helpful way.
> On Wednesday, I was back on my hobby horse talking about how art is really a science. Some great responses here, too.
> On Thursday, I made a brief introduction to printmaking. Have a look at some of the work in the replies!
> And on Friday, the message was just to enjoy colour.
Have a great weekend and don’t forget to draw your veg.

I love drawing fruit and veg, although I’ve done a lot more pictures of fruit. Here’s my vegetable.
Yummy. I like it - I can imagine those bold shapes working really well with some flat colour, too.
