Quick announcement
I just found this (online Word document) announcing a £1,000 prize/commission for artists proposing mural artwork for a prime spot in my home town of Brighton. You’ll have to hurry however, as they require thumbnail sketches and a written outline of your idea by the 13th of July.
It does not stipulate that artists must be local (an email address is given for futher enquiries) but presumably you’d have to be willing to stay here while you created your artwork!

I did not know that we lived so close together! I live in a village in West Sussex and was only in Brighton this evening!
